Permission scope

  • Steps, active energy or activity intensity, exercise time, sleep sessions, time asleep and in bed, heart rate, resting heart rate, and walking heart rate are received on a read-only basis when separately selected in the operating-system permission screen. The app does not write data to the device-health source.
  • Received data may be used to populate pregnancy and lifestyle tracking screens, show history to the user, create enabled weekly evaluations, and support relevant doctor-tracking summaries.
  • Health data is not used or transferred for advertising, marketing profiles, credit, insurance, or data sales.
  • The app does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of records from a device-health source; users should discuss critical health decisions with their physician.

Control, security, and deletion

Synchronization is optional and can be disabled by category in operating-system settings. Removing permission stops new access; records previously transferred into the app are managed through account settings and deletion requests. Access is restricted under least-privilege principles, appropriate transfer safeguards are used, and Health permission is not made a condition of features that do not require Health data.
